Returns and Exchanges
We want you to be delighted with your new purchase. If you need to make a return, we're here to help. Please review your item(s) upon delivery. Retain packaging if you think a return may be necessary.

If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, email us at the address above to request a return or exchange for eligible items. Make sure you tell us your original order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and your reason for the return in the email.
We have a 7 day return policy, allowing you to request a return within seven (7) days of receiving your order.
To ensure the validity of all damage claims, we ask that customers reach out to us regarding damages/defects within 72 hours (3 days).
Eligibility for Returns
Please keep the following in mind during the return process:
- Be sure to retain the original packaging materials, receipt, and all merchandise tags for returns.
- Returns must be received at our studio in unused/unworn, in original condition within 30 days of receipt.
- Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable.
- Returns will be refunded in the same form as original payment was made.
- Returns purchased with a gift card will be refunded with store credits.
- Returns will reflect original discounts and promotions.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Please keep in mind that returns and exchanges are not accepted in the following cases:
- The product has been used or damaged by the customer.
- More than 7 days have passed since delivery.
- More than 3 days have passed since delivery to notify us of damage or a defect.
- The product has natural variations in marble, stone, or wood.
- The product has procedural variations that are part of the manufacturing process.
- The product differs from your expectations.
- Item is final sale.
- Item is a gift card.
Additional cases:
- If the shipment returns due to the customer failing to pick up the shipment, we will deduct a restocking fee and the shipping costs. The remaining total will be refunded.
- If the shipment is returned due to the customer refusing to pay duties, we will deduct a restocking fee and the shipping costs. The remaining total will be refunded.
- If the package is lost, we do not offer refunds or reshipments. (Refer to “Risk of Loss”)
- If the customer has provided an incorrect shipping address, we do not offer refunds or reshipments.
Shipping Costs
Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable under any circumstances. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping returns.
Refund Process
Upon arrival to our studio, your returned item will be carefully inspected. If approved, exchanges, credits, or refunds will be issued for the purchase price minus the shipping fees. Tax will be refunded in accordance with applicable law. Refunds will be made in the same form as the original payment and will usually take 7 to 14 business days to post. We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges of items that are not in accordance with our aforementioned terms. If approved returns arrive to us under such conditions, we reserve the right to charge a fee for loss of value- up to the full price of the product.
*Please keep in mind that any product is vulnerable to damage during shipping. We ask that you carefully package the return in its original packaging.
*We strongly recommend purchasing insurance for your return shipment to avoid any issues, as we are not responsible for the cost of goods or shipping in the case of lost parcels.
Damages and Defects
In the event that you receive defective, incorrect or incomplete merchandise, please contact us right away so we can make it right. We have a 72-hour claim policy. Damage claims cannot be filed after three (3) days of receipt.
For faster assistance, please email us at support@mutedroom.com with the following included:
- Order and tracking number.
- Name of the item(s) you wish to address.
- Multiple photos(wide shots and close-ups) documenting the possible damages (if applicable), as well as the box and shipping label.
If your replacement item is backordered or out of stock, we’ll notify you as soon as we have the estimated arrival date, or work with you to find a suitable solution.
Final Sale
Items that are marked as “final sale” are ineligible for returns or exchanges. If there’s a problem with your order, please contact us within our 72-hour claim policy. Damage claims cannot be filed after three (3) days of receipt.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our streamlined processing and fulfillment, we may be unable to change or cancel an order once it’s been placed. However, we’ll always do the best we can to accommodate your request. We always allow the cancellation of ordered items that are on backorder or out of stock.
*Please Note: In-stock merchandise typically ships within 2–4 business days from the time an order is processed. Custom products are made just for you and therefore cannot be cancelled.
